The Hull & District Badminton League was formed so long ago nobody living knows exactly when it was formed. Rumour has it was early 1900s with the purpose of managing, administering and promoting competitive badminton in the Hull and East Yorkshire area.
Clubs wishing to enter a Team(s) into our Leagues must be affiliated to Badminton England and Yorkshire Badminton Association. The cost for a Club to join the league is a £20 affiliation fee per year.
The AGM is held at the begining of May and the fixtures meeting is held at the end of September.
The league season runs from the beginning of October until the end of April.
There are currently 9 clubs in the Hull & District Badminton League.
The Hull & District Badminton League currently comprises of a Mixed League of two divisions and a Levels League of four divisions. A level team comprises of male or female pairs but not mixed pairs.
